I found a bottle of Florida Water at the local grocery today. I love the scent but not the plastic bottle. I'm thinking I'll get a vintage bottle off of ebay and decant into it.

I agree. Lueke2326 lent me some and I am wearing it right now. Citrusy, light floral, a little spice, and its in my price range. I am surprised I don't hear more about it.

How much glycerin do you add?
It's a good question. Too much and it gets sticky, but a little makes FW into a real aftershave.
Decant some into glass, and try a few drops. I probably put 5-10 drops into a bottle of FW, or any of the Pinaud aftershaves, for that matter.
I've gone over by accident, too. The only cure then is to add more of the original aftershave ...

Amazon will have it. You can refill as needed.
I'm a bit hesitant to try Florida Water after my allergic reaction to The Veg. Another factor is the citrus component, and time I spend in sun and fluorescent light.

Love the Florida water. Had about an ounce of Avon spicy in a 3 ounce pipe decanter, filled it the rest of the way with Florida water. Smells like an orange spice cake. Enjoy your Florida water!!
Florida Water is a classic cologne, much stronger than aftershaves.

Indeed you can. I just bought a glass bottle of it in Kansas City.
Mix 1 part Florida Water to 2 parts Old Spice for Orange Spice, a very good aftershave.
