And it's a keeper! 2 passes with a touch up ATG on the neck and it's BBS! I'm 5 weeks into wet shaving and have purchased about 15 razors in that time and now I'm trying to narrow it down some. Even though I'm a big fan of the newer stainless razors and the vintage Gillettes I will be holding on to this one.

Its my first razor as well (I got the EJ DE89L(L for Lined Handle)).
I love the razor head but am finding the handle a tad too slippery for me so am looking at a couple of options. Good thing about these 3-piece razors is that they are so modular in that bits and parts like the handle can be swapped out with something else
