Yesterday I had my first shave with a US Rhodium plated TTO razor. I used a Wilkinson (Gillette) blade, my trusty Rooney 3/1 super badger, and English Fern shave soap.
This is a fine razor. In many ways it is similar to one of my previous TTO favorites, the 40's Aristocrat. The head mechanics are comparable, but there is a bit more weight in the handle, and the shine of the rhodium plating is incredible. All in all it is a worthy challenger to my previous go to razor, the Aristocrat. But I reserve final judgment until after a few more shaves!
