What's new

First MWF shave......

I received my first puck of MWF today...

Nice stuff. I really like the subdued smell! Super moisturizing and a step above Cella for sure. This stuff lathers like crazy and the cushion is excellent. I ended up getting a little aggressive with it and ended up with some irritation!!

Good news...no lanolin reaction! This was a couple of hours ago and my face is still soooooo smmmmooootthhhh!!! I am going to use this exclusively for the next few days.

Also the shelf life on the back of the package indicates 3 years....NICE!! :thumbup1:

Royall Lyme,

Glad you like MWF :001_smile

I really like it, but the skin on my neck doesn't :cryin:

MWF is a very fine soap.

Have fun !

Best regards

Russ

Oh, I don't think you'll use it for just a "few days."

Might as well put the rest of your soaps under the sink or on BST before you forget they exist.

Congrats, I have yet to pick up a puck, but I will before the year is out, I have a lot of creams to work my way through. Also good to hear that there is no lanolin reaction.

Yeah this is going to be tough. Why did I buy MWF?! :001_rolle

It is too early to tell.... but if MWF continues to perform like it did yesterday I just might retire them. Which sucks because I have a case of ARKO, new tubes of Proraso and Erasmic and a box full of Williams. Ugh!!!!

Ah yes the "Fat" strikes again. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I just finished a month with it and I have to say even though it's one of my favorites I did miss my other soap/creams after a while.

I ordered my first puck of "Da Fat" last night and I am really looking forward to trying it out. I am enjoying soaps in general more and more even though I like to mix things up with a nicely scented cream.
The MWF might be the perfect companion to my new B+B Eagle when she arrives!

You could always PIF that case of Williams to local bars and restaurants to use as urinal cakes

I just got on WCS, grabbed the $10 blade sampler plus I added some super iridiums and gillette 7 o'clocks, went to throw a puck of MWF in there and check out, and low and behold, they're sold out! :crying:

2nd night with Da Fat..........Good God Almighty!

Whoa! This stuff is soooooooooo good! I reduced the amount of water and what I got was a dense, super dense foam that was almost creamlike. I decided to shave with it and oh my.....I literally could not feel the razor on my face. I am just amazed at the performance of this stuff. The smoothness that results on my face post-shave is unreal.....so buttery smooth and soft. You'd be hard pressed to find any better than MWF....for shaving soap....MWF is da bomb!!!!

3rd night with Da Fat.......

Holy cow...better than last night! I seriously believe that MWF is the last soap I will ever need. This stuff is that damn good. One thing that I noticed about this soap is that you can "dial in" your lather consistency. I like the thicker more creamy lather but I noticed that you can water it down more to get that "fluffier" type lather and it still has super slickness but more "feel". When you lather this stuff thick you seriously cant feel the blade on your skin!!! I wholeheartedly recommend this soap to anybody that is a wetshaver...especially the newbies. If for some reason you dont like it...I will gladly buy it from you!!

I'd have to agree. If you could only choose one soap for the desert island MWF would have to be the one IMHO. Lovely lather and subtle fragrance :w00t:
