Well, I've taken the plunge! After lurking around here for a couple of months, easing my way in to wet shaving, fighting my way through some crazy SAD/CAD, and relying on my carts - I've finally had my first DE shave.

It wasn't a very close shave, but it's a start. I had to clean up the more problematic areas (under the nose, jaw line, corners of mouth) with my cartridges, but that will pass. All in all, a neat experience - hoping to ween myself off of carts completely very soon!
Oh yeah, and no cuts/weepers. Probably expected with such a mild razor/blade combo, and my conservative approach - but such was my goal and I reached it!
