Feather no sharpen blades (what do you like most)

What is your fav? I have a CJB that came with the darco blades. I want to try some of the feathers (all of them actually) so what one do you use

Super Professionals are my favorites, but I've grown more comfortable with the regular Professional blades. Super Pros have good exposure and to me they work better with a low angle, making them feel smoother.

I like the Milds the best as well. I'd like to pretend that I can use the others, but they are like shaving with a light saber....

I prefer the Kai Pink milds as well, but they are all nice and sharp.

I no longer use mine because prefer true straights. Anyway, my blade of choice was the Pro Guard.

I prefer the Pros. The Guards were helpful to me to learn with (I called them training wheels). I did not care for the angle required to shave with the Lights at all.

The cool blue coating on the Kai Pinks must add to the placebo effect or sumthin. The Kai's do seem to last a bit longer.

Not to derail the thread, but what are the differences in the Feather brand blades and how are they different, in general, from the Kai? I should have qualified my earlier comment by stating I have only used the regular Feather Pro blades but they feel smooth and sharp to me.

All the feathers differ by width, and I think thickness as well. The Kai Pink Milds have a blue coating(I think titanium) which is supposed to increase longevity.

I don't use the pro guards. I actually found them easier to cut myself with. Between the regular and super pro's, I do like both, I've found that the regular pro's work best for me. The Kai mild's are also really nice.

Lets assume the Feather Pro is the "standard" blade size.

Feather SuperPro is wider (sticks out further when loaded),and is also noticeably thicker than the Pro.

Feather Lights are narrower (stick out less when loaded). The idea is that the body of the razor will act like a safety bar or something. I never found them to work that well for me. Same blade thickness as the Pro.

KAI Captain blades: same dimensions as the Feather Pro. Seem to be a bit tamer, edgewise.

KAI Captain Sharpblade: KAI's laser sharp blade. Same dimensions as Feather Pro.

KAI Mild: Nice and sharp but not as harsh and unforgiving as most of the others can sometimes feel. They do seem to have a pretty long lifespan. Same blade dimensions as Feather Pro.

Same here

I use a Feather Dx non folding in daily rotation and have tried all of the 'system' blades.. Kai Milds are the best of all them right from the first shave. The Pros take about three days or a good corking or two or they are just too sharp to have fun.
