What are Feather Light Blades intended for??

Recently been testing/messing around with different AC blades. But when I came around to test driving the Feather Light blades I discovered that they do not fit into my AC razor. As you can see in the pic, the notches/holes are sized differently from all the other Feather blades. So... I'm wondering why these light blades are actually intended for? Any one know?

Looking on the Feather website, it does indeed seem to be meant for the SS, SR and DX razors, just with a very small blade exposure. Not sure why the holes are different. Is your razor a Feather razor? Might be worth contacting Feather about if so.

They are AC blades. Nobody I know likes them.

Also, if you are restricting yourself to only Feather-branded AC blades, you are really missing out, imo. Schick Proline and Kai Mild PINK blades are both better than any blade in the Feather line-up, imo.

I'm using an Asylum AC razor. It accepts all the other Feather blades. Perhaps you are correct and the Light blades were designed solely for the Feather razor... though not sure why they would choose to limit this one in particular.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have some Schick Prolines but I find their inconsistency annoying. First blade will be too dull to shave with and then the next will be crazy sharp. Yes, I should pick up some Kai blades to try. Perhaps on my next trip to Japan.
