Received my Feather AS-D2 today from my participation in the Massdrop buy. The buy ended on June 28 and I got it today. Not bad to save a few bucks. $152.95 out the door with shipping.
Now for the razor- this is really a nicely constructed razor. It has nice weight and a good handle.
I'm ready to try it out in the AM with a Feather blade.
After inspecting the razor a bit more, I'm still impressed with the looks- but I have to say, it doesn't feel the same in my hand as an Above the Tie Titan R1 razor or my Tradere Solid Bar razor. The two I've mentioned feel like a tool or weapon in my hand- this just doesn't have the same feel.
Still eager to see the results of this razor. I'm not by any means disappointed, but just stating my opinion. YMMV- as always.
