First shave with the Beast: the Scheermes Roedter 1909 Titan. Not a daily driver, but I can see me using the Roedter 1909 occasionally as a change of pace.

Brush: Omega Evo Ovale
Soap: Squadron Dutch Resistance
Post Shave: InstaSkincare Hyularonic Acid
Aftershave: Proraso Green (Splash)

Squadron Dutch Resistance slaps you upside the face and punches straight up the nostrils with its liquorice scent!!! This is not for the faint of heart. It's everything I dreamed it would be. Watch out, it will make the Dutch girls drool.

As for the 1970's nos Gillette Platinum-Plus blades:
There are more efficient and sharper blades for sure. It seems to be just another blade that fits somewhere on the continuum of all blades. Conclusion: The blades made in the past are not better than current production. I'd put Gillette Platinum-Plus in close proximity to the Lord New Platinum blades. I'd put the Shark Platinum as superior to it, and the Shark Platinum as good as most of Gillette St. Petersburg blades. If Gillette Platinum-Plus is the best the old school had to offer the current production blades, over all, are superior.

I have the chrome Lo Storto and the chrome Piccolo Lo Storto. They both have 11 teeth. Fatip has photographed 9 teeth Lo Stortos since before they were released. I haven't heard of anyone getting a 9 toothed one. Perhaps they are to sell to Schone and Plisson? If anyone figures out why Fatip does what it does (when they do it) please clue me in lol.

My chrome OC Slant Piccolo has 11 teeth, does that help?
