Razor
: Fatip Lo Storto Originale (aka FOCS)
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum (2)
Brush: Yaqi Aqua 24mm Tuxedo
Soap: Tabac Shaving Soap Stick

All aspects of today's outing performed splendidly.

As I've come to expect, the Yaqi Aqua/Tabac pairing generated an extremely rich, dense lather with amazing slickness. Meanwhile, the FOCS/BIC duo was very smooth and comfortable. The ATG pass was particularly effortless.

Overall, a top-notch shave! :thumbup1:

Fri 2 Fatip SOTD - First Fatip Posting here...always seems to miss the Friday with other razors!

Brush Zenith 28mm Scrubby B14 Boar
Razor Fatip OC Slant
Blade Tiger Platinum 2nd
Post & Aftershaves Ice Water + Stirling Witchhazel MitA + Hyaluronic + TGS Abysso
A very beautiful scent from this soap! The lather is very good too, creamy and slick!
Shave with razor paired with the blade was good, reasonably smooth, and comfortable in 3passes for a bbs/dfs finish without any issues. Aftershaves were awesome and somehow matching.

Razor: Fatip Lo Storto Originale (aka FOCS)
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum (9)
Brush: Yaqi Black Marble 24mm Silvertip Badger
Soap: RazoRock Black Label

Is it "Black Friday", already? ;) A few black-themed items fortuitously came up in the rotation, today, and the result was pretty darn good.

The FOCS/BIC Chrome Platinum duo is still going strong. The blade has dulled a minor amount, but there was no sign of any tugging or roughness. Meanwhile, the Yaqi Black Marble Silvertip/RazoRock Black Label performed as expected. A rich, slick lather and a luxurious face-feel.

All in all, a close and comfortable shave. :thumbup1:

Razor: Fatip lo Storto Testina Gentile
Pre-shave: Musgo Glyce Lime soap
Blade: Nacet (first use)
Brush: Simpson Trafalgar T3
Cream: Palmolive
Aftershave: Alum block, Cremo Balm and Floid Mentolado Vigoroso

The shave: This was my first shave ever with a slant razor. I had a bit of residual irritation on my neck from yesterday's shave. No issues with blade alignment.

Everything felt good, except a bite on my chin, which was totally on me, as I had a moment of inattention. It did not feel overly aggressive, though efficient. Overall, I liked the shave, though I still need some practice to get the right angle to get the best out of this razor.

I plan on using this daily for awhile.

Razor: Fatip Lo Storto Originale (aka FOCS)
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum (16)
Brush: Yaqi Blue Marble 26mm Timber Wolf
Soap: RazoRock Santa Maria del Fiore

A surprisingly good performance from a relatively venerable blade.

After sixteen uses, the FOCS/BIC Chrome Platinum duo is still providing smooth, effortless shaves with no signs of tugging or roughness. The blade is not as sharp as it was, so some extra buffing was required, particularly along my jawline. However, teh result was still a close, comfortable shave.

Meanwhile, the Yaqi Blue Marble Timber Wolf/RR SMdF pairing produced a gorgeous lather; rich, shiny, and extremely slick. This combination is always a pleasure to use.

In the end, there was no post-shave irritation, so I did not require any ASB. That's just as well because the lovely residual scent of SMdF can easily stand on its own.

Enjoyed this nice soap! The scent reminded me of some fizzy pop..the lather was rich creamy and quite slick...
Continuing Shark Week 6th shave with the razor and blade pairing. This combination was super smooth...glass-like sea surface...until unexpectedly bitten...lesson learned, don't let the guard down especially if all looks calm & smooth! 3passes for a mostly bbs finish but 2 red spots. The aftershaves were excellent!
