My dad isn't one that cares for shaving. We were never to get him aftershaves for gifts. He would get insulted, Like you were telling him he smelled.
He shaves because he doesn't like beards but only every coulpe days. I hinted around a bit when I switched to traditional wet shaving but he showed no interest at all
