Nice hot shower followed up with some chiseled face preshave gel
boxcars (59 fatty) loaded with a lord blade
Rooney BeeHive 2 super badger
Doug Smith scuttle
AoS peppermint cream
first pass was done at setting Magic #5 , 2nd pass was at #7 and last was done at #9 with a tiny touch up
cold water rinse followed with some CF Sherlock aftershave splash
this was my first time using a Lord blade... i cant say I was impressed by it but at the same time i was not displeased.
it was a nice shave but just not outstanding.
I'm not exactly sure what makes a blade stick out as great to me but this one is what i would call "good" for me that is im sure others will have different feelings on it but that's just my take

BBS after a four pass. I'm really liking the scent of the Dettol Fresh cream. Citrus hints with an undertone of Pledge furniture polish.

Yesterday I held a straight edge to stiffy and noticed a 2 distinct curvatures on both guide bars. I gently tapped them out and the razor become about 2-3 settings more aggressive with a touch more blade exposure. This allowed a very shallow AOA. The handle was maybe 20 degrees below horizontal.
Because of the tweaks the razor is more aggressive and tonight's shave was a very close, even and very smooth shave. I had a lot less work to do on the cleanup pass. Thanks to FB Feb for kinda forcing me to use my Stiffy 9 shaves in a row.
Oh, and the Danforth soap is a winner. The STRONG Oregano Scent is somewhat alarming but it's nowhere near as strong after the shave. The soap itself is divine with a rich creamy lather that's not too thirsty. Major kush too. If you're going out for dinner, going for BBQ or cooking yourself this soap is a contender. I think it's the oregano in it that makes my face feel cool while shaving. It's quite odd but very soothing.

not a great shave but it looks the part... i'm not a fan of waking up late and rushing
normally when this happens i reach for my old mach3 to do a fast single pass but i refuse to deviate from fatboy feb!
but it happens to us all from time to time.
