Fat handle tech

How can you tell what year the razor is the one I picked up says pat # on box I don't have the box and this one cleaned up really nice just thought it would be nice to know the year--- Thanks

I'm not an expert, but the fat handle Techs are from the late 1930s to early 1940s. Gillette did not use date codes on their razors during this period, so unless you know the exact history of the razor, pinpointing the date of manufacture isn't easy. There may be some members here who know more, though.

I started on a Tech and I really like the fat handle version. Nice find.
