What's new

Ever try to bend back a bent tine on an Open comb razor?

Just what the title says. I have a couple of OC's with some slightly bent tines (prongs, or whatever you call them). I am tempted to try to bend them back straight, but I'm afraid of breaking off the tine. Anyone ever try this?

If it doesn't negatively affect your shave I'd recommend not tinkering with it especially if it's a NEW or a corner tooth. I've had success with old type combs but I've also snapped my fair share of teeth so I try not to do anything to it unless I really have to. If you choose to do so, you need to apply heat to make it pliable and a flat head screw driver and gently push the screwdriver on the combs to adjust them. Please do at your OWN risk! Or just don't.

Thanks, Krona. I am glad that you gave the answer that you did. I think I'm going to leave well enough alone.
