Even More Bakelite Excellence

So this nice Bakelite arrived complete with its original travel tube - has anybody seen one like this before?

It's a toothcomb with more teeth on one side than on the other - like the Neillite the side with less teeth is more aggressive but only very slightly.
To be honest though there's very little difference in the shave from each side of the head and (unlike the Souplex Double Six where there's a really big differential of aggression in the sides) the difference in teeth seems more like a gimmick than a genuine function.

And like the majority of the '30's and '40's British bakelites this is an absolutely phenomenal shaver - aggressive, smooth and irritation free.
I wonder if wartime razors were deliberately made to be extra aggressive to save on blade use and give shave longevity under uncertain consitions when daily shaving might not always be possible?
