Edwin Jagger, Brilliant Customer Service.

Looked for the thread on here about a problem with an Edwin Jagger, but couldn't find it, So starting a new thread.

Received an EJ86 from Santa that was my Pride and Joy, till it developed a problem, that could probably be called my fault...er... because it was.:sad:

Called the company to order a new part. Today, 6 days later, (I live in Mallorca BTW,) new part arrived, free of charge.:thumbup:

Brilliant Customer service.

I would think that those experiencing problems with breakage of the screw thingamajig should follow this example and contact Edwin Jagger directly - they might be pleasantly surprised.
 
The screw on my head also snapped(after I dropped it) and EJ sent me a new, complete razor. Not sure if this is an indication of a known issue but it is great customer service regardless.

I recommend EJ because of this. I have a friend who dropped his Merkur 180 and broke the screw, he has not heard anything back from them at all.
