Ebay Score, Lady Gillette!

SWMBO showed an interest in my razor, so I looked for a nice Lady Gillette on ebay. I wound up winning two, one for $50 and one for $25. This one came today, and it's the $25 one. Much to my surprise, it's in fantastic condition!!!! My only gripe, was that the seller left a used blade in it and a few in the dispenser. Almost cut my self wiping off the doors w/o realizing it was there.

It's a very good razor. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the shaves. It's a bit like a 40s superspeed, but with a much more maneuverable handle.

Why do e-bay sellers do that......"COMES WITH NOS BLADE", right, just add rust forget old rusty blade.

The blades weren't even NOS!! They were all used w/residue and some whiskers. I guess the whiskers were just an extra bonus.

Pretty! I am looking at one of these, myself. You'll have to let us know what she thinks.

As a new convert, I am encouraging ALL of my female friends to try this! Shaving with a DE is really no more difficult than the average disposable, and it's a lot closer of a shave. Seriously, I cannot for the life of me figure out why disposable razors even came into being. It seems to me that these "triple bladed, cartridge fillers" are just trying to reinvent the wheel, and at much greater expense and waste.

Here's the picture that was on ebay...


Looking at the pictures that I just took, I noticed it looked like some of the paint was coming off. So I re-cleaned it with some soap scum remover. It's now absolutely flawless!
Update: The seller wrote back to me and apologized for leaving the blade in it, she had a family member pack it, and didn't realize it still had the blade.

Very nice, Gillette did do a great job with those lady Gillette's Made them look really pretty.

One more thing, Always treat every razor like a loded gun.

I have one, and shaved with it once. IMHO the handle is so long as to be unwieldy for the face.
