Dropped my razor, should I replace blade?

I dropped my $3 Baili TTO razor while shaving my pits. The razor hit the sink marble, tub side, and then the floor.

The razor seems fine, no nicks or breaks in the mechanism. Although I am more concerned about the brand new Astra blade in it (lol)

Should I replace the blade?

Lol.. I just might .. I’m new to this. Need to learn what to do if I drop my razors !
In my experience, it is usually something that only happens once. Live and learn, life experience, etc. It is good when it is something that costs less than $10. For me, it was getting used to the Omega 48 brush that flew out of my hand; big handle, etc. No damage done, but it teaches you what to be aware of when your hands are wet and precautions to take.

I store my razors on a high shelf. Having a zamak razor with a compromised screw post fall from that hight taught me something about how weak a screw post can be, as well as how incredibly inexpensive it is to replace zamak heads if they meet an untimely accident. Imagine the disappointment of one member who reported that his multi hundred $ high end adjustable fell two stories when taking a SOD photo.

Start a 7 day poll wait for the results and go with the majority. :letterk1:

The server costs for those pics and this thread are probably more than a new Astra...let alone your time spent posting and uploading.

Swap it out and move on.

If you have to ask the question you likely know the answer.

Odds v stakes.

Odds of blade damage -low, stakes of shaving with damaged blade- potentially quite high re cuts/weepers etc. plus collateral damage i.e. blood on shirt collar etc.

Contemplate this thing to the exclusion of all others for another 60 secs max, execute a decision and never look back on it again.

YMMV

I think your fine...maybe you should try shaving with it? that razor is not your typical 3 dollar razor..They sell that particular model here at CVS for $14.99. That's similar to the Vikings blade cheifton razor I believe, for a fraction of the cost.
