DR Harris' Arlington Splash vs. Milk

I'm looking to pick up DR Harris' Arlington as an aftershave. I'm just not sure if I should get it in the milk version or the splash one. I love my Speick ASL as well as my Cade ASB and TGR. I don't like a balm to leave my face with a very greasy appearance. I was wondering if someone with the milk version can give me some feedback as far as healing, scent staying power, and comparison the splash version or even Speick's splash. Thanks for the help.

Arlington is one of the citrus-based scents, which are typically not very long-lived. The milk fades pretty quickly, and the scent is also cut with the clean lotion-y smell present in DRH's milks. The splash is definitely a stronger scent, but it does not last terribly long.

The milk is a bit more moisturizing than most. It is not greasy, but if you have typically greasy skin it probably won't help much. On the other hand, the splash is a bit more drying than most aftershaves due to a high-ish alcohol content.

A lot of people swear by Speick's healing properties, but I don't find it too different than most other aftershaves, including Arlington. Balms tend to be more soothing than splashes and this is also the case with Arlington.
