Which one in your mind is a better eco choice and why? I'd love to know your thoughts.
First of all, you make it sound like Dove actually makes a shaving soap, which they don’t.
But feel free to prove me wrong.
I am aware that some people use Dove to shave with (I once shaved with a Valobra hand soap that was clearly not intended for shaving), but given a choice I’d rather use Arko products that are intended for shaving.
Secondly, as I can have excellent shaving soaps (Ach. Brito Musgo, Mogno) for less than €5.50 ($6.00), I would rather use one of those.
Lastly, considering the subject, I believe this thread would be better off in another Forum.
We do have a Shaving Soaps and Shaving Creams sub-forum, you know.
Given all that, I rather abstain…

Oh ofc sucha huge soap manufacturer has it's own shaving line, as it's shown above (just a few of them) but the main question is can they compete with manufacturers who mainly produce shaving products?
No, basically their packaging claiming that these versions are shaving friendly too.Do you have a link that leads to a Dove site where we can find information as to how Dove describes the qualities and benefits of these products in relation to shaving?

I use this brand to shower with, and it’s one of the few soaps I can buy that doesn’t dry my skin out in the winter time. But I prefer Arko or Chella to shave with. Never tried to shave with Dove.View attachment 1794717

Interesting, here's one of the reviews:
For exactly which product is this label?This might be interesting, I found this on the back of the packaging
it's the back side of this version:For exactly which product is this label?
I won't use anything that is mostly detergents and surfactants, and I don't use anything that has SLES in it. So it's a hard no from me, no matter how cheap it is.Mr_Omega:
Dove does produce a 5oz;
