Dollar Store Raids... or How I Realized I had a Problem.

1 x Dollar General "Classic Splash" (Brut knock off) - $3
1 x Swan Arctic Blue (Aqua Velva knock off) - $2

6 x Ivy Club Spice (made by Vi-Jon) after shave - $1.60

"Our version of" Polo Black - $1
"Our version of" Polo Explorer - $1
"Our version of" Drakkar Noir - $1
"Our version of" Acqua di Gio - $1
"Our version of" Swiss Army - $1

Funny, I was just in the dollar store yesterday and looked at the very same things! Now I don't feel so bad about perusing the dollar store!

That Ivy Club after shave is really great. It costs next to nothing and smell better than P&G's Old Spice.

I boiled down one bottle of the Ivy Club Spice and it concentrated up pretty well... applied it like cologne the other day and smelled great all day.

Did the same with the Barbasol Pacific Rush that's cloudy up front and it didn't work so well. I think all it did was concentrate the menthol!

I love the Pacific Rush... would have used it today but realized since the wife was out of town I could use Clubman!!



OH MAN WE HAVE A BIG LOTS!!! Didn't know until I googled it
Will be making a trip there tomorrow!

The actual brand name store "Dollar Store" is going out of business. They're even selling everything including their work trucks, cash registers, merchandise displays, etc.... I used to get my Old Spice "spice" aftershave there. It's pretty good for a buck. Their "blue" Aqua knock off is nice too. The colognes smell nothing like it's supposed too and smells like cheap alcohol. Imo not worth it, even for a buck..... The Dollar Tree out here is still in business, but they don't have anything shaving related worth mentioning. Even the goo from their green can shave cream feels empty.

Fantastic!

Very cooling, I find myself grabbing it when I shave in the morning now. Especially if it's hot and muggy.

Negative! Down under we have Brut (Made in Oz - http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?p=2021302) and Imperial Leather. Those two are the most frequent. Nivea of course, and a couple of other but things like Barbasol, Aqua Velva, Pinaud, don't exist. We need to order online...
