What's new

Doing 2 is just as easy as doing 1: sapphire blue & gr. kirinite restore

So I had a day off to do nothing so I restored two razors at the same time... Took only 20 min longer than doing one! But my hands are achy!

This is design 5&6 out of 8 I had planned out months before I got the tools... It pays to be prepared... All ur work is cut out for u... We'll not literally...

First one is a ps& co in green kirinite and black acrylic wedge... I know nothing about this blade but it's a full wedge and has a frenched spine (which I love).. The wedge must have shifted when I was polishing up and wasn't aligned for the pics... Didn't feel like taking new pics... Just ignore the misalignment and imagine that it sits flush (like it does right now)

SORRY TO THE DUDE THAT HAS THAT 9/8 wade and butcher in green kirinite... I totally jacked your scale design!! A thousand apologies, but had u not made it so hot looking...??? imitation is the best form of flattery?? And to be fair, urs is sooo much better looking than mine turned out!

Second one sapphire blue with translucent orange wedge on this one I focused on rounding the whole width of the scales and not just the corners... U can't tell that from the pictures tho :p

Boker #201 extra hollow ground razor I had I'm my junk drawer for a year! Finally a new home that's not too fancy but made a good user out of it..

Very nice. BTW, I'm going to help you out now - I just last week discovered that amazon sells 4x36 belts for belt sanders that run in grits up to 400 grit. Takes hand sanding at the lower grits out of the equation, so you can start at 320 grit. Feel free to send me a gift basket for Christmas :biggrin1:

Thanks yeah I've seen that but I don't have a workshop right now so I'm trying to keep dust in my apt. to a minimum... That's why I hand sand
