Does mineral oil have an odor?

A few of my twist to open razors now squeak after cleaning them so I would like to add a few drops of mineral down the razor shaft to solve this. From what I have read in posts this may solve the problem. My question is does mineral oil have a strong odor? I don't really want to use a stinky razor. Would there maybe be a better option for me to try?

It does have a slight scent that is not overpowering. I can't place the actual scent, but you should not have any problem.

I'll use mineral oil on any squeaky hinges around the house, and I've never noticed any odor. I do this in case any of our pets should lick at the oil. By doing this our pets won't be poisoned or effected by anything like regular oil or other chemicals.

I use it for oiling carbon steel blades that might get used for food prep. It's my first choice for any lubricant that needs to be food grade.

Well, you know, except for that.

odourless and tasteless, as had been said mineral oil that is food grade is used in butcher shops and is also used as a massage oil because it won't stain.
