Just curious, I don't know where I ran across this but I recall someone saying that a blade develops a memory and flipping the blade over can extend the life of the blade. Is this true?

Flipping the blade over doesn't extend the blades capabilities. The burrs of it are unthinkably thin and that's why they get strained no matter how they're used.
There's a lot of conflicting, and plain bad, information out there; it's the Internet. Best is to ask! Although I'm sure it's in jest, people shouldn't ridicule.

I keep my blade in a pyramid that sharpens it by channeling earth rays. Haven't changed it in over 2 years!
I remember seeing those back in the day...
I use the numbers on the blade to keep track of how many times I flip mine*

Absolutely. Doing so will extend the life of a blade from an average of 3 shaves to 3.1 shaves.
If you believe that one I'm sure you know that the casino's can change the odds on their slot machine's anytime someone hits a big jackpot. Of course they can. 
Wow, reminds me of the late 60's - early 70's when I used to wear a pyramid on my head to sharpen my mind. It didn't work.

First of all, thank you for giving me an honest answer. Secondly, It seemed to me to make rational sense considering how knives and straight razors are treated ie.. microscopic edge that needs to be realigned through stropping or honing.
