Disappointed with parker 99r razor!!!!

I received my razor today and I grew my beard for 2 days to see how well it cuts. Its a well built razor but the blade exposure sucks and it didn't give me a good shave at all, I had to do many passes to even get a smooth shave.

I was told its a pretty aggressive razor but this one is far from aggressive, Lord L6 gives me a better shave!!

I should have not spent money on this razor. Probably will get a 98R

It may or may not be the razor for you but if you only shaved with it once it's just a bad first impression.

I did not get along with the L6 at first but now it's excellent.

I suggest giving it some more shaves, if it does not work for you, trade it or give it a break and revisit it at a later stage.

A different razor sometimes requires a little adjustment in technique.

Are you sure you have a 99R? Does the head look like this? If so, I've used mine and it's really aggressive. As aggressive as the Muhle 2011 R41.

Hey, the 99R is TTO razor, not a 3 piece, and for me it shaves pretty mild, I didn't even have a decent shave at all. I could have gotten that from Chinese TTO razors

Ha, I was thinking of the Parker 98R.
