Shave of the Day (SOTD) Saturday December 1, 2012
proxy.php
• Prep: Brush soaking in hot water, face washed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser, luke warm shower
• Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89L mounted to T2 Handle
• Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
• Brush: Semogue 820
• Cream: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus
• AS: Mennen Skin Bracer with added Menthol
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave

I may be an Aqua Velva man, but I am loving the Skin Bracer. To my nose it has some similar notes to Clubman and Brut, but with the added benefit of menthol, which for me is a very good thing.

Had such a good shave with the DE89 yesterday I had to give it another go today, just swapped out the handle for something heavier. Another great shave, not much different that yesterdays, although no eyes burning out from a menthol overdose today.

First SOTD for December

Rooney TGN Finest / C&E Sienna Shaving Soap / Merkur 37C (Super Iridium) / Nivea ASB / Hugo Boss EDT

 Fantastic shots, Gentlemen!!!

Thank you Celestino. Maybe I'll start showing her soon...she'd at least act impressed to spare my feelings haha. BTW I'm really enjoying the shots of your Weber.

* Ryan, you should! i think she may be impressed with your shots and some of the other members on the SOTD.
Also, thank you for the kind words. You should pick one up as they are amazingly smooth shavers and very effective if you use one or two shims.

I might think about it after the holidays, although I've been trying to thin my den out a little lately...B&B is a bad place for me to visit when I'm trying to not buy anything new. :biggrin1:

Thanks Celestino...I think that's my plan from now on, don't listen to her. Haha that will work out well for me :biggrin1:.

"I'm Enders, the razor that blades are no longer available for. Who wants to find, clean, sanitize and strop used blades?"

Cleaned, sanitized and stropped a blade. Cuts paper like it isn't there. Will try it in the morning!

Derek

What a perfect example of the Island's inhabitants. The Enders looks like a great bit of kit. I hope the shave worked for you!
