Shave of the Day (SOTD) Saturday December 1, 2012

• Prep: Brush soaking in hot water, face washed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser, luke warm shower
• Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89L mounted to T2 Handle
• Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
• Brush: Semogue 820
• Cream: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus
• AS: Mennen Skin Bracer with added Menthol
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave

I may be an Aqua Velva man, but I am loving the Skin Bracer. To my nose it has some similar notes to Clubman and Brut, but with the added benefit of menthol, which for me is a very good thing.

Had such a good shave with the DE89 yesterday I had to give it another go today, just swapped out the handle for something heavier. Another great shave, not much different that yesterdays, although no eyes burning out from a menthol overdose today.

First SOTD for December

Rooney TGN Finest / C&E Sienna Shaving Soap / Merkur 37C (Super Iridium) / Nivea ASB / Hugo Boss EDT

I might think about it after the holidays, although I've been trying to thin my den out a little lately...B&B is a bad place for me to visit when I'm trying to not buy anything new.

Cleaned, sanitized and stropped a blade. Cuts paper like it isn't there. Will try it in the morning!

First shave with the 10049 and I must say; that is a large brush.
One sweep from ear to ear almost covers the whole face
