Dark and Stormy!

With the last round of Blizzards , I broke out the Sailor Jerry's and some ginger beer for a tropical classic. The Dark and Stormy! Using a highball glass (about 10 ounces), fill with ice add a jigger of rum and top off with the ginger beer.

Delicious! You can add a bit of lime too, but it's not really necessary.

This is a good way to use up dark rum if you are not normally a fan (I usually don't enjoy any rum).

Yes, this is a great drink. The darker the rum and the more ginger the better.

A favorite of mine. I like it with Barritt's ginger beer and El Dorado 5 year old.

I love dark and stormy's. I have a bottle of Cruzan Blackstrap that I use for this purpose.
