Can anyone confirm this is a Road runner? Out front my house in simi valley California, Ventura County.. ive never seen one before and this one walked around as if it wanted to get its picture taken

My pet 'coon tried to steal the bait from one of the armadillo traps.

I was taking some pictures along a creek today. When I turned to walk away I spotted this critter.
I've removed 5 raccoons from our barn after they torn the crap out of some insulation above the barn office. We also have skunks and a rather large possum.
I was 3 feet behind this heron when it took off while I was grabbing my phone out of my pocket. The low pitch sound from that wingspan is impressive.

Neat! I'm sure it squawked when it took flight. They do that almost every time when I go out to get in the truck.

Don't get bit. Them gators are sneaky ... pull in their arms and move really fast underwater - and can explode out of the water like a Polaris missile.AA
