Creed Shave Soap

I was at Nordstroms the other day and the lady tried to sell me on a Creed Shave Soap. It smelled nice but the soap and bowl was $80. Has anyone had any experience with this soap. I have GFT Eucris and Limes and DR Harris Windsor. I have had a lot of success with those three. Thanks for your thoughts.

owning a Creed shaving soap to match my creed fragrance (I love Original Vetiver) was always one of my wet shaving "dreams".. but I just can't justify it at 80 bucks either, unfortunately :(

I've always wanted to know how good they were though, hopefully some other lucky person could weigh in

I've heard mixed reviews, mostly about value. Creed is a luxury brand, I expect it o be expensive and smell great and shave ok. I bought a GIT soap for my bro for his birthday. I still don't have one and he hasn't used his yet....

I've owned Original Vetiver in the past and I currently have the GIT.

Both soaps are superb in my opinion. Yes, there are other things out there at similar prices, if not cheaper, but for me it was to match the scent with the cologne. The Creed soaps smell VERY strong, yet they are gentle and produce a wonderful and protective lather. The 'after' feeling is superb as well and these are for me the most important factors.

I sold my Original Vetiver soap just over two years after buying it. I would use it mainly on Sundays, so once a week. It had gone down to barely 70-75% - it's a very hard soap and would last for ages I think.

if you referring to overpriced comment than at $80 it is not cheap considering you can get C&S (also by Valobra) for $50 and Valobra stick for $15
If you referring to the Valobra as maker I am not %100 on that

I do not think manufactures Valobra Creed, in its formulation no tallow, has lanolin and honey  these soaps are awesome, but not worth the money, not sell refills, you have to buy the soap and bowl  the scent is a dream
