Crabtree and Evelyn Soaps

Can anyone tell me how heavily scented these soaps are? I was going to give one a try, but not if they are super scented. My skin does not like heavily perfumed soaps. Anyone a fan of these? They don't seem to get a lot of play on the board here.....

I was thinking either West Indian Lime or Nomad. Sandalwood is out since I believe I am allergic to it.

I am a big fan of the two scents I have. Nomad and Sandalwood. Both are what I would call moderately scented (not heavy not light).

They are a good product at a reasonable price point.

I know this is a tricky question, but is there anyway you can describe what Nomad smells like? Is it a fresh citrus scent?

To me, Nomad is a mix of citrus, fresh cut bamboo and slightly woodsy. It's pleasant but the scent was quite heavy for my liking.

Thank you. This makes me more inclined to go with the West Indian Limes......

It is on the heaver side not light like a citrus. I like it but I like just about everything :001_smile

It goes well with Master Challenge AS and Clubman Special Reserve AS if that gives you an idea.

I like it so much that it has the "place of honor" in my Onyx soap bowl for as long as I have owned the bowl. It is one of a very few soaps that I have a "reserve" puck of so that I won't run out

My personal selection is on Sienna ((I love it), A classically aromatic, spicy but soapy scent) and Nomad (as others have said, Woody & Citrus with Spiciness).

As for lime, I've never smelt it, but from what I've previously read here about it, it's one of those YMMV type soaps Love it/hate it.

sienna, namad and sandalwood have wonderful strong scents- and lather great, i hear the lime is not that great nor lathers like the older scents

I love the Nomad, the Sandalwood smelled great but didn't agree with my skin. I really need to try the Sienna!

I have had the Sienna for a year now and I love it, but would offer a word of caution on the new West Indian Lime. I like the scent, but for the life of me, I can't get it to lather. Perhaps someone has a few tips for this particular soap.

+1 on Sienna! That soap truly smells soooo good! A bit trickier to pick up soap I find because it is a hard puck, but lather quality is definitely good.
My very first soap I bought, so it holds a special place in the den

Love the Sienna cream too... but from what I've heard it is difficult (impossible?) to find in US/Canada, here it's still (currently) readily available, online and offline (Well, last time I was in one of their shops, 6 mo. or so ago it was in stock).

Use promo code "Thanks65" ... i'm buying 2 soap refills(sandalwood and sienna) and it saved me about 4 bucks. HOWEVER, they are charging $10 shipping for 2 little refills.. whatever man

The sandalwood and nomad are, I would agree, moderately scented. The Lime I think is quite heavily perfumed. But a very nice scent at that! All lather beautifully!
