Clueless Friends

A friend of mine recently told me he was getting really uncomfortable shaves with his disposable razors so I gave him a cheap DE (boots brand) with astra SP to see if that was any more comfortable for him.

So fast forward to the other day and i asked how the DE was suiting him and he said it was worse because he had to put water on his face for the razor to be able to move at all. It turns out that he doesnt wet his face at all or use any kind of shaving gel/soap/cream/foam not a single thing!!!

He claims that stuff is for kittens!!

Oh boy. I recently described coaching 8 year old boys in little league baseball as "like trying to herd sheep full of helium". You can tell them all you want.... but if they don't have the attention span to hear what you're saying..... it does no good.

How can you complain about uncomfortable shaves and call using cream or anything being a *****? Is he not being a ***** by complaining? Time for new friends maybe.

I wonder why he considers having to put water on his face that terrible. It isn't like it takes much effort.

Wow, just wow. I would never expect that answer. I want to know more about this guy and other eccentric ideas out of morbid curiosity, but to tell you the truth I feel like its a waste of valuable time.

He is a real man. He moves his car without using gasoline. Shaves without using water. Has money without the bother of having a job.

I had something similar happen, I tried explaining to one of my friends that shaving with canned foam/gel is bad for your skin and went into detail why. He shows me a can of Aveeno and points out that it says "For sensitive skin".

I've got a friend who doesn't use anything, not even water. He's not clueless like that guy. He just grows so little hair on his face that he can get away with it. He dry shaves once a month, and he only does those few patches that need it. I gave him a Tech and a blade, and that should last him quite a long time.
