What's new

Cella, just reminded me tonight of why it is still one of the best!

I think the last time I used my Cella it was probably December of last year. With all the other soaps I have purchased Cella just got pushed to the back of the cabinet. Well, tonight I saw it and decided to give it a go as I had been rotating QCS Vostok, Mike's Natural Lime, sample of Mystic Waters Coconut, and several RR Shave Soaps for the past several months and tonight I just wanted something different. I loaded the Cella onto my brush and the lather was thick, protective, and provided for a terrific shave. The Cherry Almond scent was a refreshing and delightful fragrance that reminded me of why this soap has been so popular for over 100 yrs by traditional shavers. I love all my soaps especially the ones made by our small Artisan shave soap makers, but if you have not used Cella in some time then do so and you will understand what my post is all about. As my friend Marco likes to say "Cella is Cella" and that is all one needs to say about Cella.

I used it for the first time this morning....loved it, it's great that's for sure.

I shaved with it on Sunday night for the first time in quite a while for the same reasons you outlined. I had the same reaction...what a great shave. It may not be my everyday soap since I have so many (with more on the way) but this is an item I will always have on hand.

Ahhh Cella!!! After reading Marco's review on it I had to have it. This noob is going to get a taste in the morning.

It sure gets a lot of press around here, just wish a local to me store carried it, I will have to add it to ak big order soon.

I loved Cella so much, but I just can't get enough glide with it to use with my straights.

Interesting. What do you use, out of curiosity?

Cella is amazing, though, all the more considering the very small list of ingredients, all of which are familiar and not some unpronounceable nonsense.

Cella is my favorite soap by a hair over Mitchell's Wool Fat, and then those two are followed very closely by Tabac and P.160 Tipo Morbido. The reasons I like Cella so much is it smells like candy, and the lather feels like a pillow.

I like it a lot as well. Used it only once but probably tomorrow will use it again.
Q: is it a soap or a cream or... hybrid?

Cella always delivers a good shave for me, and it's amazingly moisturizing.

I like the scent, but I'm not crazy about it. I don't know quite why I don't reach for it more often...unless it's because there are so many other soaps that are great, too.

Nothing wrong with Cella, though.

It is coming back out for use in my routine tonight. I have been really working on my lather and can't wait to see what happens when I get some of that goodness on my brush.
