Castle Forbes Brush Info

Hi Everone,

Earlier in the spring I traveld to Colonial Drug in Cambridge MA to check things out. I came across this Castle Forges brush but have not seen it any where else. Does anyone know who manufactures these brushes for them? It is a very nice brush. I wish they had more shavimg product information on their website. Has anyone here ever contacted them about their products or solicited input from us?

Just a guess but the writing on the brush and the design looks like Edwin Jagger to me.

I have the exact same brush, except in black. I have found it to be a bit scratcy compared to my old, old Rooney. Funny thing, the Rooney was either pure or best badger (can't really recall - the decal fell off years ago), whereas the CF is labeled super.

Has the grading of badger changed over the years, or has my Rooney just softened with age?
