I really want these blades to work. But I can't dial in a good against the grain pass with my Piccolo. I don't get nicks or weepers, just pulling and irritation. I've adjusted for angle and pressure, and haven't had any luck. Perma-sharps on the other hand are pleasant. Almost like scratching an itch.
Any thoughts? Is there a difference in coatings?
RayClem, I did as well and also have been married 47 years. Obviously there is a statistical pattern correlating marriage partners and sharp blades.I did as well. At the end of this month, we will have been married 47 years.

They work fine in my Piccolo but it may be that combination is not suitable for you. I tend to use a shallow blade angle so varying the blade angle may get you better results.I really want these blades to work. But I can't dial in a good against the grain pass with my Piccolo.

...Just use whatever blades you like. There will always be brands and models that you won't like.
