It is a great marketing gimmick.

They probably figure that the only time men go into there is when they are accompanying their female counterpart on a trip to the mall for something else. And the man goes in, sees this "sale" and figures he should stock up, and he does not return to the Bath and Body Works for perhaps another year or so....when low and behold! The sale is BACK ON!

On a serious note, their Bigelow menthol soap is fantastic for the summer months. Exfoliating and cooling, highly recommended. And guess what?! They have a buy two, get one free sale going on that includes the Mentha soap!

I was just in Bath & Body Works this weekend with my wife. First for me since last Xmas, and told the wife "oh look, Bigelow's on sale again!" and stocked up. Put it back in rotation and should be good for another year, until it's "on sale" again.

I remember when the deal was buy one, get one free. I stocked up then. That was at least 4 or 5 years ago. Still haven't used up my supply. Few tubes still in the box even now. I'm guessing another 2 years to go. Maybe longer since I now use Coates and TOBS pretty regularly.

Despite the fact it appears to be a pretty common sale, I still think you should be happy to be able to buy a really good product at a pretty good price at a B&M store. I have a large tube that I haven't even started yet (just finished the small tube) but when I get close to finishing it I will be happy to buy more.
