Well,

I wanted to report on a new arrival yesterday. Sadly, it arrived after my mid AM shave but was ready to go today. Loaded up with an Astra and teaming with anticipation for this AM shave.

My shiny new Bull Mastiff handle with Tech head today. Tomorrow I'll repeat then put my New head on the beauty of a handle.

Give Bob (cooncatbob) all the credit. It feels just right in the hand with a great grip, nicely weighted and balanced. A great plating job on the handle. I enjoyed this shave more so then a tech with a normal handle.

Great quality products from Bobs Razor Works. I have been using my BM with an Old Type head and a Astra Platinum for about a week now. I acquired it in a effortless trade from another B&B member. Wow, what a great shave I get from this. It's my first open comb and I am hooked. I have a very mild beard too but seem to like the aggressiveness of the open comb. I have to ask myself each night if it can get any better than my current setup. I will be purchasing a New head (hopefully a British made) from CCB here in the next few weeks just for SNG's. This seems to be the most popular combination for the BM's and I can't wait to try it out.

Congrats on your new purchase Bandit, I think everyone should try one of these combo's.

His work is very very good. I shaved with the Bullmastiff with a Tech head for 2 days with an astra and it was an easy and comfortable shave.

Today was a new head and astra and it was equally a great shave but I did a little too much touchup on 1 or 2 spots. Otherwise an excellent shave and great handle.
