Brush Sniffers?

SO, does anyone else here feel the need to sniff their shaving brush every time they are in the bathroom for other purposes?

I rotate between Bay Rum, Tabac, Vanilla and Amber shave soaps; the residual aroma is wonderful when the brush is dry.

My son uses KMF Patchouli sometimes. His brush stinks.

I dont sniff the brush, I do sniff all my soaps and creams though!

Yeah, I sniff my brushes and my soaps and creams. And if I've got a pot of stew or chili on the stove, I'll sniff those too.

Heck Yeah I sniff my brushes. My Silvertip smells really clean and barbershoperiffic with what's mostly a mixture of Speick Cream and Proraso Cream traces. My Omega Boar smells like a really nice mix of QED Sandal/Rose with little undertones of SCS Oakmoss and Citrus...good, good stuff.

Man, I thought I was weird It makes me feel better now. I do enjoy the scent of my brush since I rotate between TOBS and Tabac.

I don't really sniff my brushes (often), but when I use an unscented soap (ie, GMS batch #7 soap ) I get some really nice scents from the brush. It is a really nice benefit to the process IMO

I *love* the smell of my brush. I like to really get my nose into it and sniff. What do wet shavers call it? The breech? I'm a breech sniffer.
