boar brushes overrated?

I don't think it's possible to overrate butter.... but I'm sure someone will know.
I wondered about this, so used a boar/stick combo today. I just made sure there was sufficient soap on my face before I applied the brush and it worked perfectly. I do, however, have coarse whiskers, so with a 24 hour growth, there is plenty of stubble to catch and hold the soap...
Way to go!
Some people might need to get practice on shaving with a boar brush. It's not that easy to lather with a boar brush. Once you understand it, well they become underrated.
Salted butter is overrated. Less so when paired with a boar brush.
I don't have any other boar brushes to compare to, but the Semogue boar with Taj is fantastic. Builds a fantastic lather with little to no effort regardless of whether one is using soft soaps, hard soaps or creams.

Boar brushes aren’t overrated, they’re also not underrated. They’re just brushes that some people like, some don’t like and others don’t really care one way or the other.
Can I ask what you're buttering with your boar brushes... actually no I won't ask, I, like the best butter, am too cultured for that.
