Brush Shedding Hair

I recently purchased a new Edwin Jagger Best Badger brush in medium size. I am quite satisfied with it's performance but unlike my old brush, a Rooney Best Badger, it is shedding hair quite profusely. Any comments on whether this is normal for a newer brush or do I have a defective product?:

Some brushes shed a few hairs during the first few uses but it shouldn't continue too far beyond that. When you say 'profusely', how many hairs per shave?

It sheds about 4-5 hairs per shave.

Hmmm....not great but not unheard of. I might give the vendor a mail if it continues on too long.

If it continues to shed by all means get in touch with the vendor. Any of the reputable vendor's will usually make it right.
