It is an option for custom made shaving brushes on the Shavemac site. You can select a handle made from Woodturningz resin.

I found this set on the way home from work today. Looks new.
This just arrived in the mail today, from AP Shave Co.
24 mm Synbad with Blue Lagoon handle.
It goes fairly well with our bathroom colour scheme, which is dark brown wood-texture vinyl flooring, light blue walls, white fixtures.
Even a video doesn't do a good job of showing how the colour pattern shifts as you turn it in the light, similar to (but not exactly like) a tiger's eye stone of star sapphire. See Chatoyancy - Wikipedia
It also looks a bit like that "cracked ice" vinyl upholstery and melamine that was popular on '50s and '60s dining room sets. Always a favourite in Mid-Century design.
If you back-light it though, hardly any light gets through, except around the bottom ring.
I used it tonight with some TOBS Mr Taylor's cream.
