I thinned down my den a while ago. Now I am down to four brushes, two nice, two not so nice. I am slowly acquiring higher end badgers and maybe an Omega Evo synth. I don't want to go too nuts. I would like to keep it under ten good brushes. Still more than I need, but, I want some variety and there are so many nice things out there.

I don't recall how many brushes I tried before finding the ever ready 100 as my favorite, but now I only have 2 styles of bushes. 1 x Rubberset 400 and 24 ever ready 100 of different colors. My Lust to buy or try more is hard, but quenched.

When first started traditional wet shaving I just bought a boar brush and some good synthetic Razorock synthetic brushes and then I went into Yaqi brushes and went on a binge for the last couple years.
I have a few more incoming and hopefully that is it. I enjoy the face feel of a nice brush, synthetic, Badger & boar all have unique brush face feels.(Retired & spoiled wet shaver  )
Rons 21 shave brushes (4).jpg

Same brushes hanging from my bureau mirror stand spice rack.

Have some great shaves!

@Ice-Man just when I think I have a problem with brushes, I see your post and know I am all good :)

That's good I can see many more brushes in your den.

I thought I had my brush aquisition issues under control, then I realised I need some French brushes to go with MDC and Thiers Issard razors. :a46:

Variety is the spice of life we seek our goals.

Thanks for posting your collection. Now I can use your picture anytime my wife mentions my collection. lol oks like I have A 203 brush cushion…so I’m good.

Sorry you are not the first and won't be the last as that line has been used before lol.

Suddenly I don’t feel so guilty.

Oh no never feel guilty in this hobby its nice to have a choice.
