A lovely Rosewood handle turned by Oscar with a Zenith Bleached knot.
TGF Wild hog. I sort of gave up on this brush, but I took it out today anyway. After a 10+minute soak it was serviceable, it was only a little prickly at times, so that's an improvement. I loaded so much I thought I'd waste half of it. To my surprise the lather was almost gone by the 2nd pass, yep it ate it. This is a clear indication that, despite all efforts, this brush isn't broken in yet. The problem is, hand lathers don't seem to bring as much as real shaves for some reason, and I don't want to waste good soap on a "maybe" brush, meh. I'll just use it every now and then and see what happens.
Perhaps the best $9 ever spent…
