Black and Gold Super Adjustable Out As Pristine As You'll Ever Find

O-4 is my birth year and quarter, and I had lusted after a black and gold Super Adjustable for a while. I was lucky enough to buy a very clean one with that particular date code a couple of weeks ago on ebay for $30. I'm glad I got that one, because I would have been sorely tempted to go after this one.

The seller says he found it in a very old drugstore in a display case. It is unopened, and even the hanger holes on the card have not been punched out. I can't imagine how this sat there for 43 years! I imagine he made a good profit as it sold for $150. Anyone here the lucky winner?

He did not get this one, he got one for 30 dollars few weeks ago on the Bay.

They have been almost that much for a while now as NOS. I was lucky enough to buy an O-4 and a P-1 in the same transaction from a retired Gillette Exec, and they were over $100 each, even two years ago.

The red and gold metallic paper on the packaging is very much a product of the times........
