I have very sensitive skin. I use the Nivea Sensitive Aftershave Balm first to soothe the skin and dissipate any irritation. Then some Vaseline Intensive Care Moisturizer to keep my face from getting that dry and stretched feeling. A little Cortizone cream if I'm having a particularly bad day.

What type of shave cream are you using? I use C.E. Bigelow and a really soft badger brush. I try to limit one pass to the really sensitive parts of my face like the upper lip. I also never scrub my face, especially right before my shave. Try to limit the amount of contact/manipulation to your face during your shave prep.

I like L'Oreal Men's Expert. You can find it at any grocery store or drug store and it is fairly inexpensive.

Real Shaving Co. does a great job I also found gillette AS product lines to be over looked good performers

Used to have really dry sensitive skin before I used good aftershave balms. Nivia can't be beat for price but my personnel favourite is cade! If only it was cheaper in the UK!

The men's line of Mary Kay is quite good, really the same as the regular women's line, same with Clinique, both are great, I also hear good things about Kiehl's, which I plan on trying soon.

I'm really pleased with Burt's Bees products, and I'm currently enjoying Pacific Shaving, which is quite light... YMMV, but worth checking out at some point...

I've tried many products that leave my skin red and irritated. I find that Aveeno works for me...seems to find just the right balance for my skin.

I recently discovered Jack Black Double Duty face moisturizer w/ SPF20. It is part of their Pure Science line which is paraben/colorant/fragrance-free and contains lots of organic ingredients. It keeps my face smooth throughout the day and hasn't caused any issues for my sensitive skin since I started using it a month and a half ago! I switched over to this from the Nivea Q10 face moisturizer, which I found to be a bit greasy for my skin.

after doing a bit of research online,, i did buy some raw shea butter.
its funny reading about products like this because it seems the list of benefits just go's on and on. wrinkles, stretch marks, moisturizer, eczema rosacea, skin elasticity, phone reception, it can lower your car ins., make you better looking, fish will start biting, whiten your teeth, i can play the piano now!! LOL!!!!
is there anything it cant do???

Another vote for unrefined Shea Butter. I used to use Nivea Extra Sensitive AB and Real Shave Co. moisturizer, which are very good. After switching to Shea Butter, those products gather dust on the shelf.
