I've been having a heck of a time with my skin lately. The weather has been really cold, and my skin is really dry. My shaves are not as enjoyable as usual.
I've been using a moisturizer after the after shave lotion, and it has worked well. However, I tried something different a few days ago, and it's been very effective.
Aloe Vera skin gel. It also has some witch hazel and rosemary in it, and of course some other things I can't pronounce. I put a very small amount on as after shave lotion...and, that's it. No moisturizer. So far I've been delighted with the results.
The brand I got is Nature's Aid True Natural Skin Gel, but I would think there are lots of brands out there.
And, if I'm going out, or just feel like a nice fragrance, I do one spray of my favourite winter products—Creed Centaurus or Royal Oud. I'm not sure if the Oud is available anymore—a buddy tried to buy some and couldn't find it anywhere.
