Supper at the BIL'S. Surprising and welcomed offering from him. Very balanced and easy drinking. Great one from Ayinger.

Another excellent brew from St. Peter’s

Ruby Red Ale @4.3% ABV

I just love how they use the hops for an aromatic but not overwhelming profile. This one and their Best Bitter is really a treat!

The smoked barley malt dominates everything in this one - not recommended

Tonight I’m having an old American classic - Yuengling. Why? Because it comes in a pint can. I don’t believe it should be legal to sell beer in quantities less than a pint!

Joking aside, I can only rarely find 330ml cans her in supermarkets (Austria) most cans are 500ml nowadays which is fine for winter but not always for summer.

Last of the quatro crowler purchase from Waldmann's. Even though they rarely update their website, they REALLY crank out approachable, and delicious lagers and ales in the German style. Love their stuff.

Then you need to look for Genesee. Their cream ale comes in pints in a 6 pack. Awesome stuff.

I haven't had Genesee in years. I can't find it in Middle TN anymore.

It’s from the Heller Brewery Bamberg, Bavaria that is still family owned Hellerbräu Bamberg - https://www.schlenkerla.de/hellerbraeu/

Nearly their whole portfolio is smoked but the Weizen was the first one where the taste profile clashed.
