What's new

Bath and Body Works now carrys Lucky Tiger?

I received a father's day email. It showed that Bath and body works carrys Lucky Tiger, Jack Black, and has a shaving set (brush, razor and stand). Is this new or did they always carry this stuff. I never seen it in their stores. I don't think I would buy any of it anyways except maybe the lucky tiger aftershave but I think I can buy that at Ulta for $15.

I'm not much interested in the Lucky Tiger or the Jack Black, well, maybe I'd try the Lucky Tiger aftershave. If they were going to pick up new lines it would have been nice if they picked up a brand with a good cream and soap. Since they like broad lines with lots of accompanying products, Speick would have been nice.

Those shave sets are cheap, especially if they include the brush and razor. I wonder if they're flimsy though.

I actually would like to try the Lucky Tiger aftershave. There is an Ulta store nearby as well as a Bath & Body Works. Since I don't see it listed on the Ulta website I'm heading to B&BW I guess.

I am wondering how good they are also. If brush is ok and stands is nice it may be worth it.

Don't hold me Ulta having it for $15 but I am pretty sure.

Looks like they're selling two kits with badger brushes in them. On top of the Lucky Tiger and Jack Black (not sure about the Jack Black). The badger brushes are priced very well, between $35-$40. If anyone snags these up, please try and post reviews.

I won't hold you to it  but it's not on their website and my local store doesn't have it.

Also, I checked with Bath & Body Works' flagship store locally and they said that the Lucky Tiger is only sold through their website.

Let me know if you find out otherwise!

Ulta doesn't show it on their website, but the one near me still carries the line, including the aftershave, as of a few weeks ago. I asked the woman there if they were discontinuing it, because it's not on their website. She said if it's still on the shelves, they still carry it as a regular line, because they won't use prime shelf space just to try to unload old stock. Hopefully she's right. If I recall, the aftershave is selling for $19.50, or some such figure.

I have no idea about B&BW, but it would be nice if they carried it, too. While I think most of the Lucky Tiger range is nothing to write home about, I think their aftershave is a good product; the more exposure the brand gets, the better the sales will be, and the greater the likelihood they'll keep making it.

Edit: Tom, just read your last post. I guess I posted prematurely. I should go back to see if the Ulta near me still carries the line. I'll report back when I do.
