While visiting my newest grandchild across the country, the other grandfather was visiting too.
A year or so ago I gifted my son-in-law with a silvertip badger brush, some Col Conk Bay Rum soap, and an Old Spice Mug. Somewhat at my urging, my son-in-law talked his dad into trying it. He used to shave with a mug and brush (and a DE razor), but had never used a high quality badger brush, only a drug store boar brush.
The evening after his first use, he ordered a silvertip brush with butterscotch handle, a DE razor, and a Col Conk Bay Rum puck from Whipped Dog. He didn't stop there, He also bought two Old Spice Mugs on ebay (one of them with another brush).
My son-in-law didn't get his equipment back until his dad left to return to the west coast about a week later.
And, he thanked his son and me for reintroducing him to wet shaving, particularly to introducing him to silvertip badger.
It's fun spreading the word.
