Bad Smelling TOBS Rose

I bought my first new tub of TOBS Rose in a few years last month. After a few shaves I have to say there's a distinctly "soapy," and unpleasant smell to it that overpowers the rose scent. Not at all how I remember my last tub. Has anyone experienced this? Has there been a change to the formula or did I get a bad batch?

I have not experienced that and TOBS Rose is one of my favorites. I think that my tub is about one year old. I am not aware of any reformulation of their creams.
