Cognac & Cuban Cigars from H&V

I need to find a scent that is as close to this as possible . . .

BACKGROUND: I have worn this scent for YEARS. Soap, balm, beard oil, aftershave, and EDP.

Last year, I discovered to my horror that, when I started wearing it again in the fall, my skin was reactive. H&V says the formula has not changed. I ditched what I had, bought replacement EDP, and tried again. It's me.

I can spray it on my clothes, but it is not the same thing.

I have tried some "leather" scents as an alternative, but nothing pleases my SO the way that the Cognac & Cuban Cigar scent profile does.

So . . . anybody have a recommend that comes close?

Oddly enough I just shaved with my soap this morning. I never had the colognes or aftershaves, just the soap. I've always complemented the soap with Clubman Reserve Cognac Neat for an aftershave and Bogart Signature for a scent.

Strange that your skin would all of a sudden not tolerate it after years of being able to previously. Personally I haven't encountered a scent that's more than vaguely similar.

I had to get rid of my set of the soap, AS and roll on cologne because they burned like hellfire. It would start as a tingle with the soap and got worse with the splash. The only other software to do this to me is Stirling Bay Rum.

I have not found a scent that is same but I recommend Razorock Puros (soap and AS) and Stirling Gentleman (soaps, AS and EdT) as alternative options.
